Pod2g had posted a photo confirming the successful untethered jailbreak of the iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1.
The photo comes with a few words:

Somehow, it seems pod2g removed the image and post from his blog. We’re not sure what it means but if I had to take a guess I’d say other jailbreak hackers such as MuscleNerd kindly asked him not to show off any jailbreak until it’s ready. I could be wrong though. What’s your guess?
Yesterday, pod2g posted a video made by DHowett showing the successful untethered jailbreak of the iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0.1.

Anyway, release of the jailbreak is expected in a few days. We'll let you know as soon as it is available!
